Having completed a project for a neighbouring property, I was asked to explore the potential of this house. There was no shortage of space – the challenge was making better use of it. An existing conservatory and large garage were replaced and converted to create an additional bedroom and en-suite, alongside a bright and spacious kitchen and family area. Both extensions open onto a central outdoor space, transforming a previously unusable part of the garden.

Clad in timber, the new family extension features an inverted pitched roof that brings height, light and character to the interior.
