The brief was to open up the rear of the house, bringing the living spaces and garden together.
A simple full-width extension was designed to maximise light, views and access to the garden. Generous glazing and large sliding doors allow the extension to open almost completely to the outside, creating a seamless transition between house and garden.
Combining zinc and larch, the extension has a crisp, contemporary character and forms a simple, elegant addition to the existing house.
